Postcards that carry your voice
Every card in the Sounds of the world series comes with a QR code and two 6-digit codes. You record a voice message of up to 3 minutes in your browser, then write and post the card as usual. Whoever receives it scans the code and hears you speak.

When a voice says more
- Family and friends abroad who would love to hear you, not just read you.
- Birthdays, thank-yous and the first card to someone new.
- A surprise for a postcard pen pal: a greeting in your own language and accent.
Frequently asked questions
How long can my message be?
Up to 3 minutes. Recording stops automatically when the time is up.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Recording and listening both happen in the web browser. Scan the QR code or type the code on the card at postxcard.com.
Can I re-record my message?
Yes, before you save it. You can listen back and record again as many times as you like. Once you save, the message is final.
Who can listen to my message?
Anyone who has the listen code printed on the card. Treat it like the card itself: the person holding it can hear your voice.
Can the recipient listen more than once?
Yes. They can play the message as many times as they want.
Does the card itself look different?
It is a regular postcard with a QR code and two codes printed on it. You write, stamp and post it like any other card, from any country.
